Bletilla striata ‘Alba’ is a terrestrial orchid native to East Asia. Each stem carries 5–10 clusters of corsage-type flowers, and the blooms can be used as long-lasting cut flowers.
It grows best in rich, well-drained soil in full sun to light shade. Some newer forms are sports of other plants and may revert to the original type.
