Hedychium Tara comes from a group native to tropical Asia, the Himalaya and Madagascar. Each head carries many 2 inch colorful, very fragrant blossoms, crowning stems in late summer.
Grow at the bright edge with plenty of moisture in season. Where not hardy, pot up in at least a 15 inch pot; plants may not bloom the first year and need a long season.
