Description
Jack Snipe is a Division 6 Cyclamineus daffodil. Its flowers face at an acute angle to the stem, with strongly reflexed perianth segments that give the blooms a distinctive fan-like look. Daffodils provide early spring colour and can return for many years when planted in suitable conditions.
Plant the bulbs in full sun or at least eight hours of sunlight after trees leaf out, at a depth of 3–8 inches or three times the bulb's height. This group tolerates partial shade and moisture better than many daffodils, and it suits pots and forcing. Plant 4–5 bulbs per square foot.
