Pride of Lions belongs to Division 2 – Large Cup: one flower to a stem, with the cup more than one-third but less than equal to the petals. It fits the showiest garden group grown for perennializing, picking, forcing and showing.
Plant 3 times the height of the bulb deep in compost-enriched soil, in full sun or at least half a day of direct sun after trees leaf out. Bulbs measure 14/16 cm; plant 4-5 per sq. ft.
