Description
Russian Red is a canna with lush, lance-shaped foliage and bright flowers that open in the heat of mid to late summer when many plants stall. Smaller plantings make strong centerpieces for patio planters, while larger clumps form the summer bones of the bed.
Give ample moisture, full light and rich soil. Plants arrive in about 4-inch pots ready for the garden or a larger pot on heat, and respond to bottom heat indoors in cool soils.
