Vulcano is a species Gladiolus ramosus grown from 14+cm corms. Colorful blossoms alternate up tall stems and give linear structure to the back of the garden.
Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Plant at one week intervals to extend bloom season. Staking is sometimes needed, and deep planting or sturdy companion plants help hold stems upright.
