Description
Zephyranthes robustus is a rain lily native to Texas, Mexico, Colombia and Guatemala. Its upfacing, starry flowers rise on 6–12-inch stems, with the main display generally appearing in August and September.
The bulbs tolerate a range of soils and grow happily in full sun; they can also be grown in pots, including pots of water. In zones 4–6, grow them in containers and keep them dry and frost-free while dormant.
