Artist is the viridiflora tulip variety, meaning green flower, here accented with salmon-pink. It makes an exotic and matchless cut flower and readily naturalizes in the garden, lasting for years once established.
Plant in fall with single early tulips like Princess Irene or Salmon Prince for a late-spring display.
