Description
Collection Elderberry includes Adams and York, the two varieties needed for cross-pollination and good fruit set. Shrubs bear large clusters of tiny white flowers in early summer, then purple-black berries that ripen in late summer.
Grow in a full-sun border where plants develop a full canopy. Only ripe berries are edible; other parts and unripe fruit contain toxic alkaloids.
