German Johnson is an heirloom tomato originally grown in West Virginia, one of the parent lines of Mortgage Lifter. Large lobed fruits have pinkish-red skin and nearly seedless, meaty, mild flesh.
Start seeds indoors, then plant outside after frost in a hot spot for slicing or canning.
