Little Darling is a compact version of the oblong, dark-rind watermelon with watermelon-sugar-sweet red flesh rating 12 brix. Fruits run 5 in. x 8 in. and 5-7 lbs. on 4-5 ft. full-vining plants.
Sized for a picnic basket or refrigerator, the melons suit small gardens where space runs short.
