Maglia Rosa Tomato is named for the mottled pink jersey worn by the leader of the Tour of Italy pack. It makes elongated, egg-shaped, mottled 2-3-inch fruits with full, rich, lightly acidic sweet taste reminiscent of ketchup.
Pick just as fruits turn light-pink for peak flavor. Semi-determinate 2-3 ft. plants suit pots, patio containers and hanging baskets.
