Niwot is an ever-bearing black raspberry bred by Pete Tallman in Longmont, Colorado. The vigorous plant ripens early and makes abundant primocanes for a summer harvest plus ripening from late August through September.
Fruits run larger than most black raspberries, glossy and sweet with very small seeds for fruit salad, pancakes or ice cream. U.S. Plant Patent #27,131.
