Soluna Lemon is a beach sunflower, Helianthus debilis, also called cucumberleaf sunflower. This east coast dune native comes from along the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts.
Fast-growing plants thrive in sandy, well-drained soil in full sun and handle heat, dry conditions and moderate salt. Lemon daisy-like flowers with yellow petals and brown centers bloom almost year-round for garden color and landscaping in poor, dry soils.
