Piper nigrum is a tropical climbing vine with glossy heart-shaped leaves, small white flowers and clusters of green peppercorns that ripen for grinding. It climbs with a trellis or stake and grows in containers on a patio or in bright indoor light.
This live plant ships in its pot. Give warmth, humidity, bright indirect light and even water without soggy soil.
