Creeping thyme is a hardy 6 in. tall landscape plant that forms dense mats of fragrant foliage with soft lavender blooms in early summer. It works as groundcover in rock gardens, tucked into landscaping, or across larger areas.
Perennial in USDA zones 3-9 and drought-tolerant in full sun to part shade. Deer-resistant and attractive to bees; technically edible but best for ornamental use.
