Red Metamorph is a French marigold that changes with temperature. In cool weather flowers are deep burgundy, in warm weather splashes of yellow appear on the petals, then return to solid burgundy when it cools.
Stout, dense plants reach about 2 to 3 feet and bloom prolifically for hedges and containers. Flowers are edible with a very strong flavor and draw beneficial insects.
