Excelsior Hybrid Foxglove is a biennial strain of Digitalis purpurea with gloxinia-like blooms in white, cream, purple, pink and primrose. Sow the tiny seeds on the soil surface and press them in, because light is needed for germination; plants bloom in their second season and can self-seed into a lasting planting.
