Description
Blue Allium, also called Blue-of-the-Heavens, forms dense round bundles of tiny blue flowers on sturdy stems. Plant the bulbs in fall for early-summer blooms, grouping them with other spring bulbs or using them in beds, borders and containers.
Plant in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade. After flowering, the leaves die back naturally while the bulbs produce offsets that can be divided after several seasons.
