Crinum ‘Ellen Bosanquet’ produces clusters of large, long-lasting flowers on 24–36-inch stems, rising above sword-shaped leaves. The flowers bloom and rebloom in succession in late summer, and the plant prefers rich soil.
It can grow in a flower border or tropical garden. Once established, it resents disturbance, so colder-climate gardeners can mulch it heavily or grow it in a container that can be moved indoors for winter.
