Hummingbird is a Crocus tommasinianus with six-petaled, cup-shaped flowers and narrow, grasslike leaves.
Set bulbs out in fall where they will bloom in late winter or early spring. Use it in rock gardens, in pots for forcing, or scattered through the lawn. Plants grow 3 to 6 inches tall.
