Hippeastrum King Star produces a large bright flower from a large single bulb during winter. Standard bulbs measure 28/30 cm and stems commonly reach 18-36 inches, depending on light while growing.
Pot up and start in a cool dark place at about 55 degrees. Average time to bloom is about 8 weeks.
