Red Lion is a Hippeastrum amaryllis with large, bright flowers that emerge from a single bulb. Start it in a pot in a cool, dark place at about 55°F, then bring it into brighter growing conditions as it develops.
The average bloom period is eight weeks. Final height depends on the amount of sunlight available while the plant grows.
