Lycoris squamigera is grown on Brent & Becky's farm and produces pest-resistant flowers on leafless stems. The blooms last well in the garden and as cut flowers.
The bulbs are dug and shipped in late May or early June, then should be planted promptly so the roots do not dry out. It prefers part sun to part shade and well-drained soil, improving with each year in the garden.
