White Ideal is a Hyacinthus orientalis variety sold pre-cooled for bedding and forcing. Many small tubular florets form one dense, rigid flowerhead on upright stems.
Plant it where the sweet scent can be enjoyed. The type is pest resistant and blooms in early to mid spring.
