Early Wonder is a Burpee dual-purpose heirloom beet sold as organic seeds. It makes sweet 3-4 inch roots with extra tall tops, with 18-inch greens for use in place of spinach, kale or chard.
Roots mature over an extended period with no need for successive sowing. Roots freeze well.
