Lovage is a hardy perennial herb with the clean, sweet taste of fresh-cut celery. The stout upright plant amasses 3 to 5 feet in one growing season.
Plants die back to the ground and re-sprout in early spring, surviving below-zero temperatures. Very few insects attack it, and it stands completely resistant to rabbits.
