Angel Hair produces up to 15 uniformly shaped fruits on long vines. Each squash weighs about 1½–2 pounds, making it a practical size for serving in the half-shell.
Once cooked, the flesh forks away from the shell in spaghetti-like strands. The vines can be trellised, and the squash also works as a gluten-free, low-calorie pasta alternative.
