Contender peach grows on Bailey rootstock, a medium stock with high cold tolerance. Self-pollinating trees suit many climates and produce medium to large fruit with bright yellow, firm flesh for fresh eating, preserving, and baking.
Plants leaf dark green to deep yellow in autumn after pink spring blossoms, with harvest in August. Ships in the live-goods season under the 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
