Iona shelling pea is a French petit pois variety. Pods run half the size of regular peas and carry rich, sweet flavor, often three dark green pods per node.
Short vines reach about 28 inches and grow without support. Plants resist powdery mildew, Fusarium wilt races 1 and 2, and bean leaf roll 2.
