Description
Painted Hill is an open-pollinated sweet corn from a cross of heirloom sweet corn Luther Hill and Painted Mountain flour corn. Because Painted Mountain was selected in the Rocky Mountains, it suits short growing seasons and germinates better in cool, wet soils.
Ears grow about 7 in long with multi-colored kernels. Color looks pale fresh and intensifies when dried. Sow in full sun after frost.
