Description
Despite its name, Perpetual Spinach is a Swiss chard variety, also known as ‘Bietola a Costa Fine,’ or Swiss chard with thin ribs. The old Italian heirloom can be harvested young for baby greens or left to mature for full-size leaves.
Because it is slower to bolt in hot weather, it suits warmer gardens while still offering frost tolerance. Grow it in full sun to part shade for quick harvests.
