Description
Texas Early Grano was selected from Spanish stock and released by Texas A&M University in 1944 after years of improvement. The plants develop large tops and extra-large bulbs with white flesh and straw-colored skin. This short-day onion grows best from fall to spring south of the 35th parallel; cold-climate growers should use a greenhouse.
