Truchas produces compact, deep-red mini-romaine heads with uniform leaves that stay upright for easy cleaning. The pelletized seeds have an organic coating, which makes them easier to handle during sowing. This variety is resistant to downy mildew, lettuce die-back and lettuce mosaic virus.
