Torch Mexican sunflower blooms through summer heat with sizzling 3-inch orange flowers on a large multi-branching plant. It tolerates infertile soil, drought and neglect and pairs well beside purple flowers and grasses.
Sow in full sun and leave room at the back of the border. Flowers cut well and draw pollinators.

I like the warm orange color. They make the back of the garden stand out.
