Vanilla Bean is Vanilla planifolia, a tropical orchid climber with long, lush vines and creamy-yellow fragrant flowers. With time and care it can produce real vanilla pods for baking and beverages.
It grows in bright indirect light in warm, humid conditions, indoors in a container or outdoors in tropical conditions. Vines climb on trellises, walls or stakes.
