Description
Crest Gold is a Klondyke-type Cosmos sulphureus with semi-double golden-yellow flowers and thicker-cut foliage than finely cut cosmos types. It flowers continuously until frost and works well in beds, containers, cottage gardens and cut-flower arrangements.
Sow 1/8 inch deep indoors 4–6 weeks before the last frost or direct sow after frost. Full sun, lean well-drained soil and regular deadheading support flowering; staking helps keep tall, bloom-filled plants upright.
