Description
Crisp Mint is a romaine lettuce grown for ruffled mint-colored leaves that stay sweet in elevated temperatures. Sow 1/4 inch deep, 1 inch apart, then thin to 6-12 inches for baby to full heads.
Seed sprouts in 4-10 days at 60-70 degrees F; soil above 70 degrees inhibits germination. Sow outdoors from spring when soil reaches 50 degrees F.
