Description
Cubanelle is an early, productive frying pepper with elongated, flattened fruit. Peppers begin yellowish green and mature to red, developing a sweeter flavor as they remain on the plant; the walls are relatively thin.
Start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before the last frost in warm soil, then transplant after frost. Pick the first usable fruits with a sharp tool to encourage more growth, and leave some fruit to mature and sweeten.
