This diatomaceous earth is made from the fossilised silica shells of diatoms and contains no additives or fillers. Its microscopic edges work mechanically against insects rather than as a chemical poison, so insects do not develop resistance to it.
Apply the powder to dry soil around plants, garden beds, or other areas with pests. It remains effective while kept dry. The bag includes a powder duster with a 6-inch extension nozzle, and the product is OMRI listed and made in the USA.
