Description
Kossack is an F1 hybrid kohlrabi with light-green skin and white sweet flesh. Bulbs stay tender even at large size, and leaves cook like collard greens.
Sow 1/4 inch deep outdoors from spring once soil reaches 60°F, seeds 1-2 inches apart, thin to 3-8 inches. Sprouts in 7-10 days at 60-75°F. One packet plants a 4-6 foot single row. Sow mid to late summer for fall harvest, when frost improves size and sweetness.
