Mammoth Mix is a Lathyrus odoratus blend covering vigorous vines with mildly fragrant blooms in pinks, roses, reds, violets, purples, and white. Sow 1/2 inch deep outdoors in early spring, spaced 4-6 inches apart, or start indoors 6-8 weeks before early to mid-spring transplanting. Sprout takes 7-14 days in 55-65ºF soil, aided by overnight soaking, with bloom in 75-85 days.
Vines reach 5-6 feet for fences, trellises, and arbors, with 6-9 inch stems for bouquets. All parts are poisonous and not edible.
