Purple Sensation is an Allium aflatunense variety with striking dark lavender globes 4-5 inches wide on 24-30 inch stems. Plant bulbs 3-4 inches deep in fall, 3-4 inches apart, for bloom in late spring to early summer.
We ship this 10-bulb pack in early to mid October for fall planting. Set it in full sun in average to fertile, well-drained soil amended with compost, and leave foliage to wither naturally after flowering.
