Description
Queen of the Night is a single-late Darwin-type tulip with some of the darkest flowers available, opening in a deep plum shade. It grows to about 28–33 inches and works in flower beds, borders, containers, rock gardens and cut-flower plantings.
Plant pointed-end up in fall, 5–6 inches deep, in well-drained soil. In mild-winter climates, the bulbs need 6–12 weeks of chilling before planting. Allow foliage to die back naturally for 4–6 weeks after flowering.
