Royale Mix salpiglossis grows upright, branching plants 24 to 30 inches tall with 2-inch funnel-shaped blooms in purple, maroon, chocolate red, golden yellow and scarlet, most veined in contrasting yellow.
Sow 1/4 inch deep indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost at 70 to 75ºF. Sprouts in 10 to 15 days. Transplant outside after frost 10 to 15 inches apart in fertile, well-drained soil.
