Description
Shimmer Celosia produces 4–8 inch plumes in peach, pink, yellow and lime on vigorous, branching plants. The annual flowers bloom continuously and work well in fresh or dried arrangements, flower beds, cottage gardens, containers and planters.
Sow the seeds on the surface and press them into the soil, since light is needed for germination. Start indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost, transplant after frost in full sun, and amend the soil with compost for strong growth. For dried flowers, remove the foliage and hang fresh stems upside down in a dark room with good airflow.
