Description
Carolyn Whorton is a caladium grown for its colorful, long-lasting leaves from tissue-culture stock for vigorous growth. Start tubers indoors right away in 2 to 3 inch pots with bottom heat, then plant outside after frost when soil at 4 inches deep is about 65 to 70 degrees.
Leaves work as filler in arrangements on a cut-and-come-again basis. Leaf tone changes as leaves mature and can vary with climate.
