Atomic is a primulinus species Gladiolus, an old-fashioned flower originally from Africa. It carries colorful blossoms alternating up tall stems, with linear structure for the back of the border, and prefers full sun and well drained soil.
Staking helps in exposed spots, while deep planting or growing among sturdy plants gives support. Plant at one week intervals to stretch the bloom season.
