Versicolor is an oxalis with 5-petaled flowers that open wide in sun over 8-10 inch mounds of clover-like leaves. The foliage covers bare soil around larger indoor potted plants.
Pot for fall and keep as a houseplant, then transplant outside next spring after danger of frost. Spring planting lets it establish well before cold weather.
