White Lava is a Colocasia variety with huge heart-shaped dark green leaves lined with darker veins. It forms a sturdy backdrop in flower borders and adds drama near ponds.
Plant 18 inches on center in rich, constantly moist soil in full sun to shade. Hardy in zones 8-11, and in zone 7 in damp soil with mulch. Excellent in water gardens when potted and submerged.
